At Contemporary Dentistry, We Can Rescue You From Tooth Pain

In Dearborn, nerve pain or gum disease is the enemy, let us defend you from the ravages of tooth decay and bacteria

There are some realities that cannot be ignored about dental emergencies. One of these is about tooth pain. Once it begins, it will not just simply go away. Quite often, patients deceive themselves, because toothaches can sometimes start and then go away for awhile. This leads some patients to ignore the warning signs and wait till they are in excruciating pain. Quite often, this unfortunate event takes place after hours or on the weekend when dental assistance is not available. Don’t let this happen to you! Call us when your body is telling you to get help. Our around the clock hotline will hook you up with one of our staff to get you an emergency appointment so we can get you out of pain as soon as you walk thru the doors of our Dearborn office. Once we have controlled your pain, we will do a very exhaustive search to determine the cause of your discomfort so the pain can be eliminated entirely. Allow us at Contemporary Dentistry to handle your dental emergency sooner than later. Remember that if you need a filling, a root canal, a crown, antibiotics, or any other dental service to remove the pain that is afflicting you, call us at (313) 581-4884 or click below to schedule a timely appointment.

In Dearborn, our dentist Dr. Nader Bazzi at Contemporary Dentistry shares some thoughts about dental pain control at home before you can come to see us

“Once you arrive at our office in Dearborn, I will stop your dental pain immediately. In the meantime, there are some measures you can take that can reduce your pain to a more tolerable level before you see us at Contemporary Dentistry. If you have lost an intact tooth, put it in milk and bring it to your appointment. Rinsing your mouth with salt water helps protect against infection if your mouth, tongue or gum are damaged from sores or injury. Together, both Ibuprofen and Tylenol seem to help with tooth pain and swollen gums. Consult with your pharmacist before using any over the counter drugs to make sure they are not contraindicated for your medical profile. One more little tip: If you have a crown fall off, you can use denture glue to temporarily secure it.”
